Energizer® batteries with EFB technology
“EFB” stands for “enhanced flooded battery”. It is a performance-enhanced version of the conventional lead-acid battery. The additional scrim, which is applied to the positive electrode, helps to stabilize the active material of the plates, extending the service life of the battery while also improving thermal resilience. An EFB battery has a 2 times higher number of possible charge cycles and offers improved resistance to deep discharge.
